What the Unity 6 profile sets
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Model format | FBX |
| Units | Centimetres |
| Influences per vertex | 4 |
| Normal convention | OpenGL |
| Texture packing | Metallic-Smoothness |
What you get
<out>/<Name>.fbx the model
<out>/textures/T_<Material>_<Slot>.* packed textures
<out>/<Name>.cloth.json cloth parameters (if any)
<out>/<Name>.mtpackage.json manifest
<out>/<editor script>.cs Unity editor script
Import into Unity
- Copy the whole output folder into your Unity project’s
Assetsfolder. - Let Unity import the model and textures.
- Run the editor script that was written with the package to set up materials. The script is a
.csfile named after your character. - Check the warnings from the export card.
Toon skin is not baked into any texture. If you use the Toon skin type, feed the shading values from the manifest (.mtpackage.json, the skin block) into a toon shader.
Check before you ship
